Project Plan :

The Jalukbari area is mainly inhabited by the tribes namely Tiwa, Rabha, Khasi, Garo, Boro and Mikir. These people are economically backward and most of them are daily wage earners. The tribals are not literate but are enthusiastic to send their children to local school. The local school provides free primary education to children coming from the area in and around Jalukbari.
