Its work particularly focuses on the impoverished Adivasi (tribal) population residing in the hilly areas around Panvel, who have neither the means nor appropriate knowledge on dealing with disabilities. The residential school of this organization hosts over 100 students (61 Hearing Impaired and 69 mentally challenged) within the age-group of 5 - 14 years in a rented premise. In addition to basic facilities like free admission, food, shelter and clothing, the children here also get free special educational, recreational and medical facilities to ensure that these they are not limited by their disabilities in becoming productive members of society. These children are exposed to a unique dwelling and learning environment where they are trained to overcome their disabilities and lead a perfectly normal life.
